Matt Nalton

KYT alumni, Matt, trained at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, where he gained a First Class Honours Degree in Acting, and the National Youth Music Theatre. Hayley Sanderson

Born in Peterborough, Sanderson became known her 2006 single, a cover of "Something in the Air" by Thunderclap Newman. The song was used by TalkTalk in its television advertisements. Members of the advertising agency discovered Sanderson at a performance in Ronnie Scott's jazz club, where she performed regularly with the Leo Green Experience. "Something in the Air" was re-recorded at Abbey Road studios with a 35-member string section. It was released on iTunes on 31 July 2006, with its store release on 7 August, and reached No. 61 on the UK Singles Chart. Proceeds from the song were donated to TreeHouse. In October 2009, Sanderson released her debut album, Just Songs, a collection of covers and original material. Sanderson is one of the vocalists on the UK edition of Strictly Come Dancing and performs vocals and saxophone with Kitsch Lounge Riot and the Pink Floyd tribute band, Think Floyd. In 2011, she featured on "Here's Why", a duet with Gilbert O'Sullivan on his albumGilbertville. In 2014, Sanderson joined Rick Wakeman as vocalist on his UK tour of Journey to the Centre of the Earth to celebrate its fortieth anniversary. She sings on the 2012 re-recording of the album, as well as the 2016 re-recording of Wakeman's The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Michael Cross

Between 2000 and 2012, Michael served as Artistic Director of the Key Theatre in Peterborough. Throughout his tenure at the venue he directed a wide range of shows for both the main house and studio theatre. His credits include: No More Sitting On The Old School Bench, Ten Times Table, Once A Catholic, Jane Eyre, Macbeth, Blood Wedding, Educating Rita, Bad Blood, Daisy Pulls It Off, Little Women and Monstrous Regiment. He also directed a series of highly successful musicals at the venue including: The Wizard of Oz, West Side Story, Summer Holiday, Into The Woods and The Full Monty. Furthermore, Michael wrote and directed the Key's annual pantomime, including three seasons at Peterborough's Broadway Theatre with Vikki Michelle, Sue Hodge, Frazer Hines, Paul Daniels & Debbie Magee and Peter Amory. As a freelance, Michael directed Just Another Monday (National Tour) for Michael Rose, Bedside Manners for Chris Moreno, Shakers at Mountview Theatre School and a series of summer musical productions for the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage. Michael also directed an outdoor production of Much Ado About Nothing (Knebworth House), Jesus Christ Superstar (at Peterborough Cathedral) and A Christmas Carol for the English Theatre Company in Stockholm.

Mia Lincoln

Mia Lincoln Training: The Tiffany Theatre College. Theatre includes: Jack and the Beanstalk (The New Theatre Hull), Dick Whittington (Theatre Royal Plymouth), Saturday Night Fever (Royal Caribbean world cruise), Hairspray (UK tour) and lead singer and ensemble dancer for Make-A-Wish Foundation (Tristan Baker Productions). ENSEMBLE of Shrek, playing the UGLY DUCKLING. Television includes: ensemble dancer in Fame – Dancing in the Streets (TCM music channel).

Kevin Carr

The desire to 'create' has always been of great importance Kevin’s life.  After completing a level 3 in Film and Theatre at Peterborough College, he went on to qualify with a City & Guilds in Wig Making and Fashion and Photo Makeup. He went on to develop his talent and benefitted from a lot of on job training by leading fashion and film makeup artists. Kevin went on to hone his skills with a number of renowned companies, his passion for special FX led him to a number of jobs in the industry: BBC, Walt Disney in London's West End, Films & Theatre and he now runs a Professional Makeup Service Est. Since 1998 working In TV, Film, Catwalk and Theatre, Kevin’s qualifications include:  C&G Wig Making, C&G 7302 Teaching, D32-D33, Airbrushing, Vtct Level 2 Fashion / Photographic Makeup Beauty Consultancy, Vtct Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical and Media Makeup. Kevin currently works freelance within the industry and his dedication to providing an outstanding service has given him the opportunity to work as a designer as well as assisting renowned makeup artists in vast areas of industry within Theatre, Film and Television. He spent 9 years teaching Media, Makeup & Wig Making to college students, but now spends a lot of time training tutors and students to improve their skills with master classes. He is also one of the founder judges of Media Makeup for World Skills UK and has been help running the media competitions for the last 6 years up and down the UK.

Robert Gilbert

KYT alumni, Robert, has recently been with the RSC in THE KING AND COUNTRY season directed by Gregory Doran in RICHARD II, HENRY IV PARTS 1 and II and HENRY V, in which he plays The Dauphin, in Stratford, The Barbican, China and New York. He could recently be seen in ANNA KARENINA and THE ROLLING STONE, both directed by Ellen McDougall at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. Robert has been with The RSC in HENRY IV and in TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA directed by Simon Godwin. Prior to this, he could be seen in FROM MORNING TO MIDNIGHT at the National Theatre directed by Melly Still and in Complicite's production of LIONBOY directed by Annabel Arden at the Bristol Old Vic followed by a UK tour. He appeared in two series of UNCLE for Baby Cow/BBC 3. Other credits include BLOOD AND GIFTS, directed by Howard Davies at the National Theatre; Tazeem in SINBAD for Sky and Mark in GULLIVER'S TRAVELS directed by Rob Letterman. **US PASSPORT**

James Davies-Williams

James began dancing at the age of 7 in Peterborough,. He was a part of the first KYT dance group as well as training at Fit To Dance. He took part in numerous summer school shows and summer musicals. James went on to gain a place at the prestigious London Studio Centre where he gained a BA Hons in Theatre Dance. Since graduating James has traveled the world dancing and modelling in countries such as Germany, Sri Lanka, Portofino Italy, Monte Carlo France. He has danced and modelled for brands such as Burberry and Dolce and Gabana. He also features heavily in many TV Adverts in Germany. James has also toured the UK in shows such as New Jersey Nights, An Evening Of Dirty Dancing and Putting On The Ritz alongside Pixie Lott and the Strictly Come Dancing professionals. TV appearances include The Brit awards and Britain's Got Talent both in which he was a featured Dancer. He is currently appearing in the International tour of Wicked the Musical

Toby Hession

BBC YOUNG COMPOSER OF THE YEAR  Toby Hession comes from Peterborough, and currently reads music at Clare College, Cambridge, where he holds a Choral Scholarship and an Instrumental Award. Between 2010 and 2015 he attended Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, studying piano with the acclaimed Japanese virtuoso Masayuki Tayama, with whom he continues to study, and composition with the award-winning Dr. Gavin Wayte. In 2015, Toby was named a Senior Category Winner in the BBC Proms Inspire: Young Composers’ Competition, for his setting of Christina Rossetti’s sonnet, After Death. As a result of this, he received a broadcast of his work on BBC Radio 3, and a commission from the renowned ‘Aurora Orchestra’. The resulting piece, Recollections, for Violin and ‘Cello, was performed at the Wellcome Collection, London, and broadcast live on BBC R3 during their ‘Why Music’ weekend residence in September 2015. The same year, he won the 18-and-under category of the ‘A Carol for Christmas’ competition, organised by the King’s Singers. His setting of Videntes Stellam was workshopped and recorded in the chapel of King’s College, Cambridge, and recorded by the National Youth Chamber Choir of Great Britain, and Inner Voices. It was later broadcast on Classic FM on Christmas Day, 2015, and subsequently published by Edition Peters. Toby is a multi-faceted musician, with skills and experience in many genres and styles of music. Mark Curtis

Mark trained at Mountview Academy for Performing Arts before obtaining an honours degree In Performing Arts from Leicester’s De Montfort University. His early professional credits include, ‘Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs’ at, The Key Theatre Peterborough. ‘Through The Ages’ for, Reckless Sleepers Theatre Company, Nottingham. And, ‘Hamlet Machine’ at, The Phoenix Theatre Leicester. Since then Mark has delivered/assisted in many workshops for different companies (Trestle Theatre Company/Key Ties Theatre Company) and whilst developing his own workshop delivery has still performed as a free-lance actor. With close ties to The Key Theatre Peterborough, he also helped in the creation of a Theatre In Education Company, both performing in and directing various national and regional tours in productions including: ‘Ark’ at, The New Wolsey Studio Theatre Ipswich, ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ at, The Broadway Theatre Catford, ‘Enemies’ at, The Almeida Theatre Islington, ‘Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me’ at, The Broadway Theatre, Catford, ‘Robin Hood’ at, The Key Theatre Peterborough. Mark is also a former KYT member and is one of the Artistic Directors of Small Nose Theatre Company, whose work has included Aesop’s Fables and The Black Dog Project. His real love is the world of ‘clowning’ and he recently spent six months in Paris working as an assistant to Phillipe Gaulier.

Mark Hutchinson

Mark Hutchinson is an actor who won the 1993 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance as Eddie in Blood Brothers.
